Aaron Rues is employed as a Product Engineer at GM-Allison where his focus is the Hybrid Transit Bus Program.  Specifically, he was involved with system & component level development and validation testing of the Energy Storage System. He currently works on control systems, testing and validating software & hardware changes for the next generation hybrid system. 

Aaron graduated from University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR) in 2001 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. At UMR, Aaron was a member of the Sunrayce99 Champion Solar Car Team, which won the 10-day, 1400-mile race from Washington DC to Florida. He continues to support the Student Design Competition Center at UMR.
